Iris Siberica "Light of Heart

This Iris has a name and an appearance that are both uplifting. The double blooms of Iris 'Light of Heart', which appear in late spring and early summer, have striking two-tone colouring: contrasting violet-red to pale lilac, with golden yellow to brownish-red centres.

A compact, clump-forming perennial, so will give many years of flowering pleasure. It’s ideal for the partially shady garden, or by the edge of a pond, or even in a large patio container.

Although they perform best in a boggy, rich, fertile soil, Siberian iris will also be fine in lean or poor soils.
